I watched Even’s video and decided to switch from 4.4 classic to 4.3 linear and definitely noticed the much more natural feel. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks for doing this, Hal, I remember switching to linear a few months ago after watching you and I have improved so much. No cap, people hate or dick ride but honestly just watching a skilled professional makes any novice better and that's what you've done for me. I hope this video helps someone else improve at apex.

Recently changed to Linear from ALC and it was worth it. Classic hinders your movements and practically controls your aiming 100%. ALC is inconsistent at times and require a lot of microadjusments but No deadzone linear feels free and still allows u to feel the aim assist but not fully controlled by it.

I started playing Apex a year ago and what got me hooked was watching you play. I literally type in on YouTube who is the best Apex player and it was you imperialhal and still are the king aka CEO of Apex

I basically went into ALC and made a 4.3 linear, except with a slightly increased yaw and tiny bit of deadzone to adjust for stick drift. It works fantastically well. The key is to remove the acceleration so turning is always consistent. It's why Hal prefers Linear over Classic.

If you are going to move to controller I highly recommend looking at getting a controller with hall effect joysticks, this will help a lot with drift, they can still get drift but compared to a regular joystick it is night and day.

I recently picked up a Gamesir T4 Kaleid and I highly recommend it, I have my deadzone in Apex set to zero and get no drift whatsoever.

The reason the speed Ramps up in classic is it has turning ramp up time turned up high. If you want play classic without it. Go alc leave response curve 10 and turn off extra yaw ramp up time.
I personally play alcs which is a fine tuned 4-3 linear. For Anybody who plays linear these are god mode settings I promise.
Deadzone 3
Outer threshold 1
Response curve 1
Yaw 220
Pitch 180
Extra yaw 220
Extra pitch 120
Turning ramp up 16
Turn delay 0

Ads yaw 125
Ads pitch 105
Ads extra yaw 120
Ads extra pitch 80
Ads turn ramp up 5
Ads turn delay 0
I set them up like this because the pitch in default setting is so slow.
