Classic Tekken 2 (Arcade Edition) - CGI Opening - HD

Tekken 2 is the second installment in the popular Tekken fighting game series. It was first released in arcades in 1995, and later released for the PlayStation in 1996. The original arcade version of the game was released in Tekken 5 's Arcade History mode for the PlayStation 2, in 2007 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable via the PlayStation Network, and in 2009 for Zeebo via ZeeboNet. It was succeeded by the popular Tekken 3, which came in 1997.

The original arcade version had 8 characters available by default. Each character has a "sub-boss", a special character that was fought on Stage 8. The sub-bosses were clones in term of movesets (they generally share the same moveset as the original character with few exclusive attacks). Heihachi, the main antagonist serves as the final boss for the game. All sub-bosses and Heihachi are not playable in the arcade version. When the game was ported to PlayStation, all sub-bosses and Heihachi were made playable. Also, Kazuya's alter-ego, Devil were made available as an unlock for completing the Galaga mini-game. The unlockable characters are only playable in the PlayStation version.

Tekken 2's port to the PlayStation is considered to be vastly superior in content to its arcade counterpart. Aside from unique CGI endings for every character, it featured numerous modes such as Survival, Time Attack, Team Battle, and a Practice Mode. It also contained remixed music, like the port of the first game.

The PlayStation 2 version of Tekken 5 features the arcade version of Tekken 2 (Ver. B) as a playable bonus.

Tekken 2 is available for PlayStation 3 users to download onto the PSP. However, multiplayer options have been removed. As of system upgrade 1.70, Tekken 2 can now also be downloaded onto and played on the PlayStation 3 and on Zeebo.

This and the pit from MK4 terrified me. We also had a Tekken 2 arcade cabinet at our local Pizza Hut. Creeped me out seeing Heihachi with the dark music in the BG as a kid while waiting for pizza. Time flies. 😅

I remember the days I played this game on the arcade when I was 8 at some hotel!
Man, I didn't think I'll find more about "Tekken'' someday, but here I am! Although "tekken'' is a bit bloody, doesn't mean it's the worst fighting game ever. Because it's not! Thank everyone who added all the gameplays & cutscenes of the colest video games ever here;D!

This will always be one of the most hilariously bad intros I ever saw, even when it popped up in the arcades I couldn't help but giggle.
It just seems rather random, you have Heihachi just there at an angle who then slowly turns to face you with a strange open mouth expression, to a bizarre Tekken machine that breaks apart from an incoming giant steel fist all to a strange almost out of tune theme.
It's like it's trying to be badass and fails miserably xD
