About The Video: On the 16th of March 2014, when the full moon once again will shine at its brightest, Tyred Eyes released their video for Lunar Escapade. The song is loosely based on Italo Calvinos short story The Distance of the Moon, and tells the story of a couple who once every full moon climb a ladder from earth to our closest celestial body, where they stare at the cosmic beauty of earth from above. But one fateful lunar escapade, they get lost between astral bodies, and together they remain in the void of space for all eternity...

Lunar Escapade is the first single from Tyred Eyes upcoming album Elevator. The album has been recorded and produced by Olle Björk and Per Stålberg in Welfare Sounds Studios, and kicks off where last year's Ghost EP ended, but showcases a band that has let a variety of new influences affect the song writing and sound.
