EXP Realty is a very popular brokerage for both new and experience real estate agents. A lot of my audience are young real estate agents and since I have been in your shoes before I wanted to share my thoughts on why I Didn't Join EXP Realty and if Real Estate Agents should join EXP Realty.

As always I really appreciate you guys watching the vlogs, it truly means a lot to me. My goal with these vlog videos is to simply document my day without any filters and show you exactly what it's like to be a real estate agent. I am not successful in real estate yet but I have done decent in the business up to this point. I want to use these vlogs to kind of show you the changes that occur from vlog 1 to vlog whatever you are watching. As time goes on my business will grow and you will see go from nothing to something. My hope is that it inspires you to do the same once you see proof of concept.

I'm a brand new agent and the reason I decided to join eXp is the mentorship side of it rather than the commission split. Been binge watching your channel man, see you at the top one day!

Just got my incense and this was very helpful. What really hit home for me was that I feel the same about the non stop recruiting that eXp and KW agents do to get passive income. I would rather just buy investment properties for that and not have to constantly be thinking about recruiting and just do what I do best which is sell. Thanks for the honest and informative video.

great video man. im in one of those fb real estate agent pages and man, the moment someone asks what brokerage they should join, they instantly get +500 comments consisting of 98% exp recruiting efforts. its crazy how you could tell how some of them are thinking of their own pockets before your best interest...that left a really bad taste and as of now, ill be avoiding exp entirely until i know what i want after experiencing a physical brokerage

Exp is amazing if your recruiter is a mentor that shows the ropes of the industry & is truly invested in your “real estate career”.
I love the “share the model” idea but not the “hounding” aspect of it . I’ll share the model but I’ll show people it’s pros and cons and let them decide without trashing another companies reputation. Great video man!

Dude...I was honestly REALLY!! Considering joining eXp. But since I’m not even license yet, I thought it’ll be best for me to be at a actual brokerage 1st. Like you said, just knowing what question to ask and having someone literally right across or next to can be everything.

Hey Aram long time listener first time caller! I’ve been watching your videos for a while now. Love the hustle love the energy! I signed up to exp under Greg McDaniel from the real estate uncensored podcast and it has been wonderful! I have been in the business for almost 9 years and I hated the silly office meetings that literally could have been an email. The split is awesome and once you reach icon agent status man things are good. In my opinion the brokerage doesn’t make the agent the most crucial aspect to a new agent’s career is one on one time with an experienced agent or group. I personally mentor here in North Carolina about 4-5 agents at any given time. The biggest piece of advice I could give a new agent is talk to your mentor and make sure they are willing to put in the time to train you. Go and sit in their office in their car and listen to their conversations, nothing beats actual in the field experience. Offices are becoming obsolete especially now with what covid 19 has done to so many industries. Keep hustling man! Can’t wait to see you succeed!

Exp actually gives us access to a Regus office if you need to meet clients or things of that nature that you can book near you! Don’t let the recruiters ruin it, I hate those people. But just do real estate don’t feel pressured if other people do recruiting. They are annoying. For your first three transactions, exp assigns a mentor in your area to physically help you and let you shadow them so that you can learn along with 30 hours of live trainings every single week!

Great video! I agree with you on this. I don't think eXp is for new agents. I am a seasoned agent and am currently with eXp. It does have its benefits as far as commission structure goes. I don't focus on recruiting, not what I joined for. I haven't been pushed to do this. I do my own thing. Only draw back for me is I don't care for the World. Having to go there as an Avatar and ask a question is just not my cup of tea. I'd rather call a person up or send an email with my questions. I hate bothering my sponsor, but I will if needed. I've never talked to my broker and I've been with eXp for 8 months. I miss having an office to meet my clients at and really no personal contact for questions. That's my 2 biggest problems with this company. Just my opinion.

Cool video...I think it depends on who you speak to about the 'recruiting' aspect. I personally have never been pitched 🤷🏾‍♀️ I am a licensed broker and loan officer and decided to join eXp recently 😉 Glad you found what you were looking for & hope everyone actually looks into all of their options.

I completely agree with the recruiting. I’m still in the process of getting my license and exp was the top broker cause of the splits. Thanks for the video definitely helped think more about a local office.
