How to Write an Editorial

Andrew Rosenthal, in his previous role as Editorial Page editor, provides seven tips for writing an effective editorial. This video was originally published on Feb. 5, 2014, as a resource to support students participating in the Learning Network's Editorial Contest.

2. Be concise.
3. Give an opinion and solution.
4. Do your research.
5. Write clearly. (Write as if you were writing to a friend who is well-informed and cares what you think. No slangs. Use examples.)
6. Every writer needs an editor.

Helped a ton! have to write an editorial for my english class and i had no idea what it was until my teacher brought it up last week, although his lecture did explain it well i've forgotten most of it coz of spring break haha. Seems easy enough, especially without citations.
