JJ Watt is one of the greatest players in NFL history He is one of only 4 Players Ever to Have 6 Tackles For Loss in a Single game and he is also the only player in NFL history to accomplish this twice and his 39 Tackles For Loss in 2012 are the most in a single season in NFL history He is a 5x Pro bowler 5x First team all pro The 2012 2014 and 2015 defensive player of the year And a member of the NFL 2010’s all decade team he also in 2014 became the only player in NFL history to have multiple seasons with at least 20+ sacks finally his 38 sacks from 2014-2015 are the most in nfl history for a 2 year stretch

He should've won MVP for the 2014 season

Add him to the list of phenomenal players that never won a ring. Yet people argue rings when discussing the GOATs.

I don't think anyone will argue the Texans wasted the careers of Andre Johnson and JJ watt. We're talking about two people who were considered top five at their positions during their primes

He deserved a better team. Too many good players never get a ring. At least he's getting his credit due. He deserves it.

I wonder if Skip will acknowledge that Shannon was “Better” than JJ Watt ever was based on Rings

He was the last defense player I remember ever in a MVP discussion, a legit runner

JJ is the goat of defense. Troy was incredible but Watt? No one has done it like him not even close.

I'm gonna miss JJ. Dude is monster on the gridiron sad that he never won the Vince Lombardi trophy

He had 3 great years in which he won DPOY 3x times then he had 5 more decent years.

Skip the type of player to evaluate JJ’s career by saying “and?..what??”

Imagine if he never ended up in Houston. Imagine if like at the time he was in his prime he was in Pittsburg or something he would be in the goat conversation just like Brady.

Only thing that could make his legacy better would have been a SB win

JJ Watts career and the way it played out prove to me that I have no future as a scout because I watched him play it Wisconsin and just did not for see him being this impactful… I thought he be a pro but I didn’t see the height behind the first round draft status but clearly I have no future in scouting

Wish he could have won a Super Bowl or at least gone to one. Hopefully he gets into coaching and does.
