French speaker here;
American English it's 'cr-ay-p' (which when speaking English is the correct pronunciation)
In French it's spelt with an accent on the first e, crêpe, and makes it 'k-r-eh-p' similar to how she's pronouncing it

1) Batter too thick
2) Use butter, not olive oil, and spread it on the entire pan with a paper towel. French food is about loving butter.
3) soak your trowel and turner in water
4) Flip your crepe before filling

You have to spread the oil with like a paper towel on all surface, then pour the batter and in one circle motion spread the batter in a full crepe (but it takes training).
Also you should flip it or it won't be cooked on the other side.
This looked more like pancake than crepe but it's important to spread the batter fast for it cook well

Also, the metallic spoon on it killed me, try to avoid metallic things with it, use wooden ones instead (or don't touch the surface)
