On round 7 (sick omen ult) I think sentinels knew they had an op since save last round and wanted to try to clear A long and get a free kill on jett hence no smoke. I think sen had a read that since akrew was eco 3 players they would rely on jett to hold down the A lobby with op and then they could eco stack somewhere else. although sick sticking the ult was a bit troll, I think its just growing pains in a new role and he was trying to fulfill the strategy instead of intuitively playing his game.

this was refreshing to see. surely there are kinks to be worked out and their executes are still fairly simple compared to like a util dump from DRX/Optic but its good to see they are once again playing as a team, getting their timings and coordination right and less ill-disciplined solo nonsense SEN has come to be known for recently. deserved qualification and while i don't have hope for SEN to beat Optic, C9 and the Guard, i think they have the potential to fight it out for fourth if they keep up this momentum.

Pretty sure they enter garage before the smoke so that they can get into better position to burst. They probably know that Akrew is looking to play off trips so they would not be holding a wide angle like that, just my opinion but dont think its a mistake (against the playstyle of Akrew).

Tinyzx’s teams at Vct Champions video called Sentinel’s strategy “Out-aim these kids” but I wonder how much the team agrees with this and how willing they are to stray away from this reputation. Their strats have never been the most creative.

when kanpeki entried garage with ult, they didnt wait for smoke cuz tenz is right behind and he can trade him out then res and while resing, the rest of the team is there to support him.

That push from Paincakes in round 10 could be because he was thinking there was nobody on B. Akrew was caught blowing all of their utility to retake an empty site before and SEN often leave nobody on B after that plant. The timing was still way off, but that could also be because of the same reason.
