[Hollow Knight] Hive Knight Boss Fight, Quick, Easy

For me, the hardest part of the boss wasn’t even the fight. IT WAS GETTING THERE

I found this guy and I was not prepared AT all, I had 2 masks left and immediately closed out of the game when I realized this was a boss arena

Beat him first try, but i was on 1 hp and there was a bee coming towards me right before the final blow, so i was pleasantly surprised when a hit never came :D

A tip for anyone struggling to reach this boss: I highly suggest obtaining dream gate first . It’s so much easier to just teleport to him everytime than have to deal with running across 4 rooms and dying before you even reach the boss.

I struggled with this boss, and it wasn't even because of the boss

Everyone got the shadow dash, me I was too weak (didn't upgrade nail) and I died twice and lost 5k Geo because of the room before it. Not to mention how the bench is really far from the boss.

So with true nail, unbreakable strength, quick slash, mark of pride and nailmasters glory you can just face tank this guy. Dash through here amd there but honestly i just stayed on him and unloaded.

If you're struggling in this boss I would definitely recommend using sharp shadow it's a major hepl made me beat the boss in about 5 mins

I just beat him without any real good upgrades. Had bad charms like wayward compass. I don’t have the shadow dash unlocked but I feel like you lose out on a lot of damage by playing safe and shadow dashing. I just bounce on his head. It’s such free damage.

My strat
Heal when he uses the bee burst or the honey spike balls
Jump quick and nail bounce off his head when he thrusts. You can score a couple hits on him this way.
Use Sharp Shadow to dash through him when he teleports and attacks
I used Longnail, Defender's Crest, Thorns of Agony, and Sharp Shadow
*You can replace Sharp Shadow or Longnail with Quick Focus
