YEARS I HAVE LOOKED EVERY NOW AND THEN FOR BETTER RENDERING QUALITY AND FINALLY THIS ONE DID IT FOR ME. THANK YOU SO MUCH MY GUY. The single change I needed was going from Sony AVC to Magix AVC, and then ofc matching your settings. Its a minor change to anyones eyes but I noticed immediately that the rendered video was a lot more clear. On top of that you kept the video down to a whole 3 minutes long. Short, simple and very much effective. Thank you so much

For SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) and smaller file sizes YouTube recommends:

4K-60fps = 53–68 Mbps
4K-30fps = 35–45 Mbps

Hi, when changing frame rate to 60 (minute 3:11) it reverts back to 59.94!! Any idea why?

I agree with your settings but when i upload from PS5 (4K60FPS) it uses webm which i find processes far quicker to 4k than these MP4's from Vegas Pro 18. You could always use handbrake to convert from mp4 to webm and see if they process faster once uploaded.

I remember watching this video a while back and its helpful for bright videos but it sadly doesn't solve the issue where dark areas get somewhat pixelated and low in quality, this actual video actually suffers from the same thing starting from 0:20 if you look at the dark areas at the top of the screen.

There's one thing I don't understand: if I have 4K 29 FPS, why should I render at VBR exactly at 35-45 000 000? Some of my source files actually have their bps less than 35...shouldn't I adjust rendering to actual source files' bps? What I always did was checking the lowest and highest bps that used videos have and put those two numbers in "average" and "maximum bps" sections

If I have a GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, is it better to use AVC / AAC or HEVC / AAC? I record in 2560x1440 / 60FPS and render up to 4K / 60FPS and I care about the best quality and fluidity on the YT.

What happens if we don't have H264_VBR in the RC mode of the custom template settings? There's VBR, VBR high quality (no idea if it's better or worse than plain VBR), but no H264
