What’s happening in this “The Holiday” movie clip?
Iris (Kate Winslet from Titanic and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) reads the messages she received on a home exchange website. A woman, Amanda (Cameron Diaz from Charlie's Angels, The Mask and There’s Something About Mary) asks her if they can swap their house during the holiday season. Iris, who desperately wants to go somewhere far away, tells her she agrees.

What’s the “The Holiday” movie about?
Iris (Kate Winslet from Titanic and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) is in love with a man who is about to marry another woman. Amanda (Cameron Diaz from Charlie's Angels, The Mask and There’s Something About Mary) realizes that the man she is living with has been unfaithful.
One lives in England, the other in California. The two women, who have never met and live 600 miles from each other, come into contact on a home exchange website. Impulsively, they decide to swap homes for the holidays. Iris moves into Amanda's house in Los Angeles while Amanda stays at Iris, in the snow-covered English countryside.
Shortly after their arrival, the two women meet a man. Amanda falls for Graham (Jude Law from Sherlock Holmes, The Talented Mr. Ripley and Captain Marvel) as Iris meets Miles (Jack Black from School of Rock, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and King Kong).

I must say prior to this movie I only knew Kate Winslet from her work in "Titanic", but to see her play in a romantic comedy was a breath of fresh air. Plus, this was a cute movie.

Everytime I see this scene, it give me so much of positivity and so much happiness makes me feel like I am in real one of the character and seriously living in the movie. Connects us with the story with so much ease and spontaneity. Such a great movie and awesome work by both Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz.

There's something special about this movie. it gives strength and courage to those people who suffered the same.. the best part is the friendship between Iris and Arthur.
