So how bad are u gonna cut hours? My wife works at walmart. They raised their wage to 11 an hour, but hired more people and cut hours so bad, her bi-weekly paycheck averages 425$

This is awesome, this will cause more people to leave other distribution companies and go work for Amazon if they aren't making that. Supply and demand should be the way minimum wage is set, there should not be a federal wage at all

As well they should! The company is worth trillions. The hours and work conditions are awful. I know a lot of people that work for them.

Everybody makes more money but me. What about all the other people that were making 15 or $16 an hour already are they going to get a bump?

This could lead to more consumer spending for the holidays and higher consumer confidence. Then, the economy will really start picking up. $30, 000 dow in 3 months.

Seems like every time a company raises their wage above mandated minimums they cut hours. Wonder if this will happen to Amazon?
