Citrix : XenServer Automated Installs using Answer Files

We look at installing Citrix XenServer 6.0x via PXE using answerfiles to automate the process. The answer files are XML based and fairly simple to get a grip on. To protect the root password we use type="hash" that allows for encrypted password to be used in the answer file. For PXE we use a Linux server and have a configuration file that matched the interface and MAC address of the host we want to install. the host boots and the install starts automatically and proceeds to completion.

Hi, nice video! I believe it is possible make a list in the Default file which you can use to specify different answer files\settings. Instead of a list where you have to select an option, is it possible to add MAC addresses into the Default file which then point to a specific answer file\settings automatically? I need to provision multiple XenServer hosts and trying to figure out the best way to specify unique hostnames and management IPs. Many thanks
