Can't fault the Crush 20RT! I bought one as my main combo late last year - and use it for playing the local music clubs and when our little (pensioner) group goes out entertaining. It also drowns out the rest of the group who have Nu-X 50W and I love playing jazz and blues through it! Never needed to go beyond about 3 1/2... it's a glorious beast of an amp - and I'll be using it for a very long time - and it's very light, which is important at my age!

I got the Super Crush 100, it sounds amazing and is even cheaper than the OR15. It's really versatile.

I just played a show with a Micro Terror through a 2x12 and an all Keeley pedalboard and it pulled it of just fine. Granted, by the end of the night, the volume was pushed to 3 o'clock, but It sounded great and did the job.

The crush amps sound thin to me. I went with a Tiny Terror. Picked it up used for 250. I ve gigged with it through a 4x12 cab for the last 8 years

But for beginners - the pedal amp doesn't seem to fit cuz we'd still have to output through something right?

What were you outputting the Stamp into? It sounded like a cellphone at full volume?

Is the Orange Crush 20 1 x 8-inch 20-watt Combo Amp good?

I have some doubts. I would be extremely thankful if you clarify them.

1. Can I use the Orange Crush 20RT for home recording? (I want to create some stoner doom style of songs.) I mean to clarify is it good enough for recording?

2. Can the headphone output be directly connected to the audio interface for recording purposes?
Can it be used as a substitute for line output? Would the sound be compromised or not? (I don't know, I must be wrong, but I read somewhere that directly connecting amp. to audio interface might be dangerous.?)

3. Plz tell the best way (in general) to record the amps. From what I know there are 4 ways - 1. Mic the amp 2. Amp plugins 3. Line output 4. Usb connectivity from amp to computer. Mic'ing up is most authentic but I have apprehensions an amateur like me might struggle mic'ing up the amp in the bedroom/home recording ? Are the amp plugins really worth it?

4. Last doubt please, can you recommend the best guitar amp. (In general) for stoner doom (Electric Wizard) kind of sound? Which would also be budget friendly. (I live in India, so here everything is super expensive, that's why?) Or, are the amp plugins really a good way to get the desired tone.

Plz, I really need an expert advice for all these. I live in India, so I have no one to give me advices.

Please help me.

Find an older, English made Orange Rocker 30. Versatile. Sounds great. Affordable.

I know they say micro stamp can sound very high volume when distorted but what about clean? Is clean loud enough to keep up with the drums?

To be fair in the 60s and 70s Jimmy Page used Orange amps only for the theremin (atleast live)
