As a way of teaching me English, while celebrating my love for nature, my father would read me your book "Tree of Life" when I was a child. I was fascinated by the huge tree and the way different forms of life used it. A while ago, in a place unexpected (near my house in Israel - close to Africa but not quite there...) I saw a huge, great tree and your book instantly came to mind. I came closer and saw the flowers (lucky timing!). It felt like a dream coming true. I got back there at night, hoping to see one of my favorite scenes of the book come to life - the bats hanging on the flowers. Fortunately, I got to see them, and tears of joy came to my eyes. Seeing the spirit behind the book is so much fun. Your connection with creation and your versatility inspires me a lot, especially as someone who tries creating sketchbooks while on the road.
