So glad I saw this video, I just upgraded my bars to 12" and replaced my rear suspension on my 2014 SGS with the Legend Revo rear shocks and yes it is like night and day vs the Harley stock suspension but now I am feeling the "loose" front end that you describe. It looks like I am going to have to upgrade the front as well. Those 2 upgrades were not cheap but knowing that my ride will be that much better by replacing the front end then it's money well spent IMO. I appreciate the content you put out here so that people can be better informed.

I run Legend Revo Arc suspension front and rear on my 17 Street Glide Special. Rears have the remote reservoirs so they're easily adjustable. Front suspension was done a year after i did the rears and it made a huge difference. Performance is the key word, i wasn't looking for a plush ride, i wanted handling and that's what the Legend suspension does.

I have legends on my SG and RK. Absolutely love them. On the RK I only have them on the rear and can definitely feel the crappy front end. I use this mainly as my practice bike so the front shocks are on the back burner. Putting the 13" legends on the rear though brought the bike up and I'm not scraping nearly as much. You can never go wrong with legends. Great video brother

I have 13 Progressive 444. Had them put on in Sturgis by the Progressive dealer. Great upgrade!

Great info, I plan on getting Legends and would have bought the 12. I already have the Axio’s in the front and love them.

Great video Rick. I went with legend front and rear when I got my 19mako. Night and day difference. This was a good one.

That’s a thumbs up from me. I bought my bike used with Legends on the back. I really enjoy them and customer service warranty procedure is amazing!
Thank you for doing a video on these. So many people say Ohlins are the best, but is that from experience or marketing? IMO, anything is better than stock Harley shocks!

I went with the Legend Axeo’s performance on the front of my SGST a year and a half after i installed RWD RS1’s on the rear. I have a great set up and loving both the Legend in the front and the RWD’s on the back. They match up very well!

I just tried to have suspension upgraded, front and rear. Everybody swears this is the first upgrade everybody should do. I got the front installed (Fox HD cartridges), but the rear became an issue. I bought the HD IFP-QSR 13" FOX shocks, but when installed the axle nut and swingarm would hit the exhaust. Local HD dealer was dong the install. So may end up swapping out the 13" Fox shocks for the 12" Fox versions instead. Right now went back to stock 12" shocks for now. But 12" Fox shocks still should be much better than stock on the rear, but was hoping to goto the 13" shocks so I can get the extra travel. But just a warning for some that you may have to adjust in some way for many of the 4 1/2" pipes we all tend to use if you go with 13" shocks. Local dealer mentioned some pipes seem to be ok, some aren't. Love to hear form others watching ways in which they get around some of these issues or if you ran into issues like this. Heard some hammered their pipes creating more indentications to make it work. Or perhaps some sort of spacer or something else. Open for suggestions.

I have legends front and back, and I absolutely love them on my 05 ultraclassic.

I have the legend air on the back and love them! Finger tip control of my suspension in real time. Never uncomfortable again! Plus you lower them when parking and slow maneuvering to give even more control! Oh get the front upgraded as well!

Yup, 2020 SGS. I installed the 13” Revo A’s out back and stock up front. I’m about 240 and my girls 110. I often feel like the front end is a little squirrelly on me. Looks like I have a new winter project ahead of me now. Thank you for the excellent video/advice.

Your spot on rick by saying change both front and rear shocks to get the best ride, definitely gotta look at the fine print and order the right weight ratio that gonna be on your bike, thinking I’m gonna go with fox heavy duty on mine because its a limited and we put a lot of luggage on it going on trips👍👍

I just switched from a 22 SGST to a 13 SG. The 22 had the Progressive remote reservoir rear shocks. That bike just felt more planted to the road. I had much more confidence cornering. I've only put a few miles on the 13 so far (it has Ledgend suspension in the rear guessing nothing done to the front) but that loose front end feel was instant! Very glad I found this video. I have seen a few of your other videos. But obviously this one was well worth the watch.
Thanks!! Subscribed!

I was told the Legend’s would ride like on a cloud. I had them installed all around and they are better than the stock shocks but they are not as smooth as they claimed.

Catchy subject I really like it 👌 While I enjoy my rear 13” shocks and made big difference in comfort they damage my muffler on the right side due to increased length. Now I wait till they punch the hole in my pipe.

Great video Rick, I was just about to pull the trigger for just the rear on my 20 RG, totally going to do the front now.

I made a HUGE MISTAKE with the Legend Suspension. I cover several mistakes I made and that others have made so that you can avoid making these same mistakes with a Legend Suspension.

Thanks for watching, liking, commenting, and sharing this video with others. If you have not yet subscribed to the channel, I would be honored if you would consider doing so.

Have a great day and ride safe.

I mounted a pair of Revo Arc shocks on my FXR4 and it was amazing. Set the preload according to the instructions and adjust the clickers to get the ride you want. Now the front end feels horrible. If I had the money, I would change front and rear at the same time. Raising the rear of the bike an inch does make the handling a little quicker but that will level out when I do the forks.
thanks for the video
