Abby said everything during their tween/teen ages. You never want to point out insecurities to people because there might be more to it.

Like for Maddie's teeth, Melissa might not have had enough money and she got braces at a young age. Chloe's eye, she might not have known at the time or she was scared to get the surgery. Ava can't change her height. Pressly can't change how her thighs look. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.

Abby did not need to say that stuff yet she did. And when she got mad at Pressly for changing the costume, that was because the CHILD didn’t feel confident in it, not the mom. And if the Pressly didn't say anything she probably would've still had the original costume.

Dance moms was fulls of trauma and bullying and no kid should have ever had to do that. And when they told Abby to yell at Chloe and she got upset with the producers was the right thing, And when they told Jojo to grab a costume and Abby said Im not gonna yell at kids when adults are telling them what to do.

The producers started the problem. Because if your mom wasn't "right for tv" or "not causing enough drama" the kid got kicked out.
