Zülfikar, on the other hand, is trying to send Iskender from the palace because he is afraid that Safiye's son Alexander will be enthroned. But when Safiye Sultan learns about these plans, Zülfikar gets into trouble. Kösem goes to Iskender to kill Safiye because she wants to take revenge on Safiye Sultan. Alexander is going to be the murderer of his mother, unaware of everything. Sultan Ahmed's illness begins to increase more. Alexander, on the other hand, becomes more and more attached to Kösem. However, someone knows about this love and things get bigger. Someone witnesses Mustafa's illness. When Kösem goes to tell a very important secret to Ahmed, she is upset by what she learned.

Magnificent Century: Kosem is about Kosem Sultan married to the "State-i Aliyya", when her six-year-old son ascended to the throne, having the position of "Regent of the Sultanate", as well as the power gained by defeating all her enemies and becoming a sultan who brought the world to her knees with her regency. The power of Kosem Sultan became the greatest authority of the state through Murad IV, will be shaken by the iron fist of Sultan Murad, who wants to seize power. With his determination and might, Murad will give the Ottoman Empire its strongest period after Suleiman the Magnificent. The defeats of the state inside and outside will close the era.

Why are we talking about Kosem when all she has ever done is try to protect Sultan Ahmed, in spite of constantly trying to defend herself and the Dynasty from Sultana Safiye??? I dont get it...Sultana Safiye had her father killed & then bought her sister there to take her place by poisening the King and ultimately causing Kosem to have to kill the sister before she could kill Sultan Ahmed! I truly do not understand the hate Kosem recieves...its called Self & Dynasty preservation people!

so everyone is blaming on acting of kosem sultan that she didnt react much to death of her sister but you all neglect the fact that she found her sister after almost 15 years when kosem was bring to palace she was just 15 or 17 so her sister was may be 5, 6 years less than her and when the time pass she learned that her mother died and her sister was lost or dead when she didnt find her sister she imagined that her sister died so she had already cried for her death and the fact she didnt react she cant process the emotions because she was going through multiple emotions and she after soo many years she found her sister as a adult she had already buried her feelings regarding her family thats why she cant react much ! (may be i am wrong) but it is what i feel like emotions go cold when you've cried for someone and when you suddenly see them you cant process the fact.

Kosem is really beautiful and a great actress but she can't portrait emotions.
It will be good if she had atleast showed emotions to the death of her sister.🙂
