The Andersson Brothers making a first test run of their Renault Kangoo with super charged Mercedes OM606 turbo-diesel. 400-500 hp is slightly more than the original 1.5 L diesel DCI engine.

Since a lot of particularly stupid comments have been coming in recently...
People reacting strongly to this based only on the fact that it emits black smoke for a couple of minutes must be a special kind of stupid. I would never deny that this is harming the environment, but the comments do clearly show a great problem we have today - people´s complete inability to see the whole picture.
Yes, this is not environmentally friendly. Yes, this is a case of amusement at the expense of the environment.
BUT, this car has run like this for not more than 15-30 minutes since it was built. This might be shocking news to people, but all cars pollute the air. Even electric ones. Most people owning a car do sometimes use it only for entertainment. Maybe they go for a long vacation, or maybe just going to the movies. Most people do also travel by other means just for fun. A single flight to a foreign country will cause more harm than this car during a few minutes. And please keep in mind that these minutes have amused millions of people.
Even seemingly harmless activities do a shitload of harm. People taking their car to the gym, running a skiing contest (all the preparation, logistics etc).
Most people do also entertain them in other ways which in some way cause CO2 (among other things) to harm the environment. What this boils down to is simply harming the environment while amusing oneself.
Many of these people have not spent a single minute reflecting upon how they affect the environment while amusing them self. Many of these people react to this simply because the smoke is black. These people are either stupid or ignorant.
Either way, most comments do not only show the tragic narrow-mindedness of people, but also the lack of interest in having discussions. What's interesting to these people is releasing some built up pressure and aggression by spewing out a few medieval insults, not actually taking part of any kind of intellectual dialogue.
The next shocking truth to many people is probably that YouTube is not a democratic forum, and I have no interest in offering breathing room to various Internet trolls on my channel. This is why I do not accept attacks on me or anyone else - including environmentalists.
And please leave Greta Thunberg out of the comments.
