Great video, just the information I needed to get going for my bus retarder overhaul. We have an oil leak from the vent R1 which was indicative of a bad leaky accumulator.

Just done the same job last week with the retarder bearing gone must’ve been like that for a while and was causing all kind of trouble scince new with a banging when engaging a gear it was on contract for the first 5 years so its only now we have discovered it‘great vid’s though keep them coming 👍😎🇬🇧

What where the symptoms of the fault in this retarder ? I have excessive oil coming out the valve block vents.
