what a rollercoaster of emotion during this one! it was so sad to watch the first few races where the nerves were getting to you, and it really exemplifies that your mental game has so much to do with how you place, sometimes even moreso than how good you actually are. when you got that 1st on Bone Dry Dunes I actually cheered irl lmao

I loved how when you let go of expectations for yourself and went “oh I haven’t even practiced this in months whatever” you did good!! I think becoming less self conscious made you relax and go into flow state

The character development this episode is fantastic.
The usual mc, happy, upbeat, carefree etc then he takes some L’s and is down but with the help of his team mate he bounces back and does better than ever, with a few hiccups along the way
