We love Provincetown. It has such a wonderful vibe where people can just be themselves. The restaurants, the shops, the bars, the entertainment, the art and music. My bride of 50 years and I will be there early in September. Thank you for sharing.

Memorial Day is pretty early to be on the Cape. What you saw is a very subdued P-Town. Come in the Summer and there will be a lot more people, but also a lot more to see and do as the pace and the fun pick up - plus it won't be so drab and gray. Except during Pride and Bear week, it's never so crowded as to be "over crowded" - just more people and an energetic vibe.

You need to come down and try my area, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The gay spot for the center of the east coast. Though not as gay as Provincetown, the presence is strongly felt.
