As promised, I will be sharing my knowledge and experiences when it comes to my D-Visa and Temporary Residence Permit application here in Estonia.

First things first, congratulations on getting accepted to the school you have applied for. Now, it's time for you to proceed with your visa and residence application. After gathering all the required documents, you need to contact your nearest foreign representation of the Republic of Estonia and make a reservation for submitting your long-term visa (D-type) application. Hello, do u have information about application D visa and TRP in Estonian Embassy Singapore? I search that we can make appoinment there for ASEAN. However, based on my university information about embassy, Singapore is not on the list.
Also how long the process of the visa start from the appointment date?

Regarding health insurance, do you suggest buying it from Estonian companies, like Ergo or Salva or should I acquire it from my home country?
In my understanding, it needs to cover the length of the D visa, minimum 1 year.
