I keep watching these videos in case I'm missing something, yet there are games I can't hit a shot to save my life in an easy scenario, then during a hard case I keep hitting.
I genuinely don't know what I'm doing wrong besides sudden changes in waves. It's frustrating.

Its funny how much perfect sea of thieves combat resembles submarine warfare. If you had time to plot out the trajectory of every shot, it would be a massive advantage, allowing you to win fights.

2:22 i disagree.
I slowed your video and you pointed to the wrong patch of grass.
Players are heavier then chains.
The reason why you point slightly up when shooting a player, contrary to chains that need to be pointed higher is because when you shoot a player you don't wanna hit the ship anymore. By shooting the player you are better off shooting slightly upper then the balls, because you will be shoot lower do to be heavy and slide in the water.
In other hand, when you want to demast them, it is obvious you have to point much higher then players.
But players are heavier then chains.

best bit of advice i got was it's the veolcity of the cannon going up/down and NOT the angle its pointed at (for the most part)
