She was never sold into anything, she actually came from an extremely wealthy Nk family who was close to Nk's leader. She never suffered any of the things that regular NK people suffer through.

I don’t know if her story is true or fake. But she is bringing attention to the fact that there are those in North Korea that truly are suffering horrendously. And there are many who are thrown in prison there so whatever she is, she is bringing light to the fact of North Korea and the situation there and I pray that one day all North Koreans can be set free to practice some religious beliefs and have the freedoms that we take for granted every day so I would say thank you to her for bringing attention to the situation in North Korea

Why her story is different again and again!?! In her own tales, she said that her mother was sold at $60 and as she herself was a virgin, she was sold more than $20 as of her mother. That very Video i saw it just only yesterday. Actually, there are various version these defector tell tales of her escaped from N. Korea, always different everytime she gave speeches and interviews. I don't understand her! I felt pity her very much and i used to watched her videos very much, but now, i have another mind. Seems like she act as celeb, also seems like in looking for fame and wealth she fabricated all those stories. There are 3 or 4 version of how her father died, sometime she let him died in N Korea Prison and sometime in China, after they escape. The way of they escaped too had various version too, all from her own words. So, i don't know is all her tales are true or not!

I read her book. Its very detailed on how the process went. Her dad escaped too after them. He was already free when they chose to escape because they were so hungry. Her sister escaped first and the mom followed in order to look for her sister. Such sad stories. She is a hero and a voice to those who still live there. 😢
