Hey guy please Like and Subscribe Thanks

In this video, we comparing a stock head with a slightly modified head. In this head, we have upgraded the camshaft to a 266 regrind perfect for street use and also completely cleaned port matched and refreshed the head with new retainer clips valve steam seal, and also upgraded the valve springs that have 10.5mm lift and 65ft of seat pressure. At the moment I am running 20 degrees of timing with the vacuum advanced locked. feel free to ask any questions thanks.

The total cost of head build $570NZD
upgraded valve springs $150NZD
regrind 266 duration from Auckland Cams $270NZD
gasket kit $150NZD
Port match intake and exhaust $ cost was time

Hi guys! How much horsepower can the stock 2e hold? Will it handle more in the NA form or it can handle the same with a turbocharger?

Quick question sir

I have a 2e like yours. Looking to get the cam cut. Do you possibly know the limit of a cut cam? Before there is issues with piston to valve clearance?

Price I got is R1450 but the haven't mentioned anything else at the moment in terms of what the cam could be cut too.

Unfortunately in South africa no one sells performance valve springs for this engine. So also my idea is to just get brand new valve springs from Toyota. Its obviously better than 250000km ones that are 25 years old.

I would really appreciate your input man

Thanks!!

Can you still achieve that power using the stock vacuum? I mean modifying all that is said in the video except the vacuum?

I wanted to try 266 camshafts but kinda worried that it might shorten my engine's life span.
