I'm Italian and I live in a small village where an elderly 99 year old english soldier lives. His story is incredible because he was a prisoner before 1943 but he liked Italy so much that he decided to stay.
He was a prisoner at the Rezzanello Castle in a climate of substantial respect on the part of the Italian soldiers and of close relationships of friendship and camaraderie born within the four walls of the castle.
