My dad has an iPhone 14 pro max as his main phone and his iPhone 7 Plus as his secondary and tbh after changing a few settings like background refresh and some other settings, that phone is faster than most 2024 budget phones and it till holds up really really well in 2024 except for battery life which can be fixed by a replacement and the fact that you will be missing some new features as it runs on iOS 15.

Had a 256 GB iPhone 7 Plus in jet black.. literally used it until the wheels fell off and got the 12 pro max in 2020 and recently upgraded from that to the 16 pro max, i upgrade every leap year it’s always amazing to see how many changes happen every 4 years

I upraded in late 2022 to the Iphone 14 Pro Max from the 7 Plus. I still wish I’d kept my 7 Plus over this 14 Pro Max, Yeah…7 Plus was lighter, Thinner & just as fast, Actually faster than the 14Pro max in attaching pictures to text messages…No kiddin

I use mine to store podcasts on it, it’s not used as a phone at all, it’s plugged into my B&W Zeppelin and is just used to play the podcasts I enjoy, it just one podcast, Mutations, a French Canadian show that plays a fantastic mix of music from all over the world, I’ve got shows from the first in 2008 to present, over 700, 128mb storage takes them all like a champ

I wouldn't get one if i was gonna buy a phone in 2024 but i had one for 5 years now, imd9nt use it but it still works and i had replaced the battery on it, its a back up to my s22

I have an iPhone 7 128 gb. I use it a lot, almost every day. I will buy an iPhone 15 Plus because I want it, not because I need it. iPhones are just great! Apple is one of the few tech companies that develops amazing products. With the iPhone 14 and the satellite communication, Apple put itself above all other smartphones and the whole mobile phone industry!

I have an used 7 plus that I downgraded from my refurbished 12 mini who had all kinds of problems.
But ios 15 tends to make the phone a bit hot for no reason. But some developers are working to make for downgrade on ios 10 usable on a daily basis.

The advantage of the iphone 7 plus is that it has a large battery, a double telephoto lens, and a known reliability compared to my old iphone 12 mini which I use from time to time for the compatibility of applications or other.

I have an iphone 6s that is still usable after I downgraded it to ios 9 with Semaphorin, which makes it even more usable than ios 15 and the autonomy is good for a 6s with a 100% battery.


I don't use my phone much, but if I were on my phone all the time I'd go to Android.

My father still use his 5S but the battery is getting weak after, 10 years lol XD
It's quite a beast too, this little one.
