Both men and women are displaying the behavior of looking for the best they can get. A lot of men will gladly choose young, big tit and ass women over 35 years old normal size ladies. So I see no difference there in the behavior, the only difference is that men and women are interested in different things about each other. Men as well are hypergamous. As soon as men reach a certain status or money they will get divorced and will look for young, model-looking women. I mean just look at the women of many reach people. They look like supermodels. It's a little hard to believe that all of those hot women are chosen by their great character and not their looks. Besides, sleeping with other women is common. Just look at China's high political profile people. They are married but have hot tall mistresses. The common man would also like to sleep around with hot mistresses, the only thing is he can't afford them/have access to them. For a lot of men that is the only thing that's stopping him. So, his not being hypergamous is not because of his good character, but because he is not able to get them. For men who can have them but choose not to because they value marriage, those are the men of quality characteristics.

Hypergamy is innate in all beings that procreate. Animals too select their mate by observing the strength of their attributes, with the hope that the offspring will be born strong and attractive. This applies to men also. As well as most animals that survive in a pack or an unit. People want to align with others that give them the best chance of survival and prosperity.

I would say that everyone with the ability is hypergamous. It is just that women more often have the ability to be hypergamous.

I understand hyper gamy but as a BM, one of the most mind/boggling things about BW is their tendency to lay up w jobless, ab usive losers.

I’ve met too many women (relatives included) who do this and if you help them break away from the situation, they just go right back to the guy.

I am curious how men are different from women when it comes to choosing the best possible option? The criteria may be different, but please show me a man who will choose to date an unattractive girl if he can get an attractive one.

Also, men too look out for social status - a rich man will not marry someone from the lower classes. He may choose someone equal or less wealthy, but not dead poor.

Both men and women are constantly looking for a better deal. Nothing terrible about it.
