Lots of confusing FCPX backup videos out there, but this one was short, concise and clear - THANK YOU!

I just watched this video again because I forgot how and honestly even tho I copied my project to another external HD, this is the best simplest YouTube tutorial on this topic.

So many convoluted videos out there on this topic, that actually don't even get around to mentioning THIS procedure (external manual backup basically)!! Great video, well done.

I usually do not comment but this was great! Much better and easer than the top recommendation videos!

Thank you so much for this!! Super helpful! Quick question- in another video you had different settings for saving the cache, backups, etc straight to the hard drive but this one you say to keep it in library. Which do you recommend? I would really appreciate more clarity on that. Thank you again!

Quick question, when you say "project" do you mean it in the colloquial sense, or the way Final Cut Pro means "project." I'm ultimately trying to move the entire video creation to an external drive without breaking it

Very helpful, thanks a lot. If I have “leave files in place” selected, will moving the project to the external library take the clips and stuff with it or will it be just the project itself. Thanks.

Hi - I tried following these steps exactly but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be doing anything for me. Any troubleshooting advice?

How do i move a project with all related files on one external hard drive to another external hard drive. I do not get the fcpbundle extension during the process on your video.

Hi, if you move a library to an external hard drive, does it also move the projects and keep them intact - in other words, would my project still be there so I could continue to edit it ? Thanks.

Thanks for this informative video. Do you think it's okay to create a new library for each editing project we work on? It seems to keep things more organized for me. Thanks!
