BIAS Desktop - Navigating the ToneCloud

In this video we look at how to navigate the ToneCloud in Positive Grid's BIAS Desktop.

BIAS Desktop is a revolutionary Amp Simulation application. Configure almost any amp tone out there by using the professionally modeled components. Included within BIAS Desktop is the ToneCloud.

The ToneCloud is where BIAS users can upload presets in order to share them with other users. Accessing the ToneCloud is easy, just click the cloud icon with the word "Tone" inside of it.

Once in the ToneCloud you are able to search by CATEGORY (Metal, Clean, Bass, ect...), LATEST (the most recent uploads), and POPULAR (the tones other people have voted up). You also have a SEARCH function so you can type in the name of an amp, like 5150, or the name of a person, like Benoni.

When you find something that you like, click on it to read more and see any comments on the tone. You can PREVIEW the Amp to see what it sounds like. You can Like and Comment on the tone. And of course you can Download the tone.

When you Download an amp from the ToneCloud it will be placed in your Custom Amps list.

The ToneCloud is integrated right into BIAS Desktop so you don't have to search several webpages to find new tones. You will need to be connected to the internet to access the ToneCloud.

You can even upload presets you created to the ToneCloud

Hey, do i need to have installed Bias professional to access the tone cloud? I have bias desktop but i think bias professional is what everyone seems to be using...

Hey can you help me? I just bought bias desktop professional but it opens as the standard/demo version. When I click to upgrade/log in so I can access the professional features it tells me that I have no Internet connection (even though I know I do have a good WiFi connection) and when I try to login it says login failed. I tried turning off firewalls etc but nothing helps so far. Got any tips?

Hi, i can't seem to find link to register to tonecloud, so i can download presets, could you please post it or tell me if there are some other steps so i can and download presets? I can see them in my DAW, but i need to be logged in, and i can't seem to find where to register. Thanks in advance!

Can you download presets without opening the bias amp sim? I use my VST offline. Would like to download the presets online to use on my offline audio daw
