The psychographic profiles episode is definitely some of the most fun discussion I've listened to on the show. Looking forward to the ten year anniversary episode.

I like the subassembly question. I always come back to something Jon Ninas said that really stuck with me. "Don't paint the boots". The concept is that if something is out of sight you can afford to not paint it, or if it's not important, paint it to a lower standard. This was a hard thing to accept, because I hate the idea of leaving something unpainted. But if I'm trying to get my smallest brush into a crevice that nobody's going to see when they're looking at my model from multiple angles, that's just wasted time and effort. That's the idea of subassemblies. If parts of a model are going to be obscured or difficult to access and that's why I'm considering a subassembly, I ask myself whether anybody looking at it from 3ft away will even notice. If the answer is no, don't worry about painting subassemblies.

10 years next week!? Congrats! I'm a historical board war gamer, I don't even play AoS or 40K, but I'm a regular Wednesday watcher now! You, Uncle Adam and the gang you pal around with though, have helped me learn so much about painting! I just paint for hobby fun, but all the info and knowledge you guys share with the community is absolutely terrific! At all of your advanced level(s) of painting skills, the thing I find the most amazing, is the manner in which you all engage with novice and rookie hobbyist like myself, which I'm sure is just as appreciated by everyone else out in the hobby as it is by me! You guys are really super in that regard, thank you so much! Your sharing of painting knowledge is truly inspiring.🍻

Favorite past episode - the assessment of heroes. When you divided heroes into several different categories, then elaborated on what makes a good hero vs. a bad hero. You then discussed several specific heroes and what made them good or bad. I found this very insightful when trying to decide how many and which heroes to take in my army lists.

You've put out so much amazing content for the past 10 years Vince, it's hard to pick. As a game designer myself, I have a bias obiviously, but all of your shows talking about redesigning factions, magic systems, general's handbooks etc are gold, I come back to them from time to time to rediscover some wisdom. Perhaps the one I find myself coming back to most often is the one (2 I guess now) about psychographic profiles, I knew most of it already from my magic past, but it was such a fun discussion about AOS armies, game theory and knowing the audience you're designing for. Looking forward to next week!

Love all the new deathrattle stuff, and I love the narrative of a full deathrattle kingdom army, if my hobby backlog wasn't so big I'd be so into it.

Congrats on 10 years, sir! You are the GOAT! My favorites were the dawnbringers story times, and I am still waiting for the last one :)

The Warhammer Weeklies I like the most are the ones that go into game design like stuff for Snarling Badger or the Timmy/Johnny/Spike discussions. I'm never on when these air so Happy 10th Anniversary!

My favorite is always your preview reviews. Second is your talk about game design for AoS, snarling badger and beyond. Always excited to hear your PoV.

Hey man, afraid I don't know the episode but I distinctly remember you talking about having a pile of unpainted minis, which weigh on your mind and end up making painting a chore, your advice was "just get rid of it". I've finally been brave enough to act on it, and several boxes to Troll Trader later and it feels like a weight has been lifted of my shoulders. It was absolutely the advice I needed to hear, so thanks it's appreciated.

1:25 my favorite moment: introducing Hey Woah for the review of ogors 3.0 battletome. That whole episode is something I went back through all of the rest of AoS 3 and got me back into playing more ogors. But Hey Woahs introduction was just legendary!

I couldn't possibly pick one favourite, but I got back into the hobby 2018ish, missed the End Times and when I went back to watch your videos of the transition to AoS was fascinated by how badly gw handled it and how well you and Tom tried to keep things positive. More recently story time with Vince saved me a fortune! Congrats on 10 years and thank you and your fellow hosts for all the time and effort you put in

The entire transition from warhammer to AoS was a wild year or two as we all went on a Rollercoaster together.

I would absolutely love to hear an episode on philosophy ! Especially on philosophy of games or wargames, it would be great to hear you on this topic. Unfortunately, there aren't many scientific publications about Warhammer as far as I know, but I’m still convinced there's value in having a casual or academic discussion from a metaphysical or esthetical standpoint about our hobby.
PS: I published a paper a few years ago on Warhammer games (name is "Wargames as Realistic Tabletop Simulations of Fictional Events: The Case of Warhammer Games", if you're curious). I'm not sure it's worth a read, but you might find it amusing to learn that Teclis is mentioned in a peer-reviewed journal!

Warham Weekly memory: "Chaos dyes their cloaks in cherries. They've got big cherry bogs" - Vince, Episode 09132023 (26:50) min. I'm a produce man, the journey to discover where fruit comes from has to begin somewhere.

On the sub-assembly piece: there are cases with GW models where you can't get a brush in but it's visible. Normally a problem when model is zenithaled.

My solution: before anything else, get junk brush, load with paint and stab it in. Some tidy up required but easier than sub-assembly.
