WWE 2K16 Review - PlayStation 4 / Xbox One

Review Notes: WWE 2K16 features 2K Showcase mode with Stone Cold Steve Austin, an improved Creation Suite, Community Creations, the addition of The Authority (Triple H and Stephanie McMahon) in MyCareer mode, a gigantic WWE superstar roster that shockingly doesn't feature the popular WWE NXT women (Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, etc.), and much more!

i know it sucks they arent in the game but in reality no one uses the divas

So even though last year I said that the roster wasn't thin, after playing this game and looking back at 15's roster yes It was thin & half assed like you told me last year lol. WWE 2K16 is great, I have the game on both PS3 & PS4. Yes the last gen version isn't much different than 15 was and has no NXT or Career but I still enjoy it and play online with my friends who only have PS3. The PS4 version is AMAZING! Although I do hate the limited reversal system in which I shut off, The MyCareer mode this year is a marginal improvement over last year's bore of a Career where nothing happened at all and you were barely in any feuds, This year has a calendar, you can choose a tag partner, choose which belts you wanna go for, get in feuds now It's just really really awesome. I understand and agree with the lack of Divas, and other wrestlers in general, but isn't there still the Creation Suite? So anyone can make the wrestlers, and then have them be downloadable for anyone to play with?

Is it still only 6 men allowed in the ring at once on new current Gen?
Did they finally add the 8 and/or 10 man tag?
What about Royal Rumble are we still restricted to the same modern area with no retro?
Can we create a 60 man Royal Rumble or is it still just 40 man maximum?
New Royal Rumble Animations? and Did they at least finally add triple threat tag team match types?
Any Lumberjack match added back yet? someone please let me know as these will decide weather I buy this game or not..Thanks

The submissions blow.
Reversals are broken. Universe mode - You can't defend titles at any moment and you can't do #1 contender matches.

can you tune off the reverse limit? I don't have the reflexes any more to have the kind of timing these games more and more seem to require,   having to stop the moving bar in the small green zone. also is there any idea on the PC version?

Agree on my girl Bayley. Would love to see more from you on My Career and how it compares to the NBA 2k in terms of money, attribute training, off day options, etc.

so i know there is the showcase mode and unervisal mode and my career mode. i havent bought the game yet. but is there a gm mode to i heard rumors about it but idk yet.

I'm very interested in how much has been done to improve the Create-A-Superstar mode. I didn't even bother with 2k15 because of how bland it was. It felt like a huge step backwards from WWE '14. My favorite part of these games is being able to create my own wrestlers, especially indie wrestlers who I would like to see compete in the WWE, but last year's installment killed much of what you could actually do. I know they still haven't put Custom Music back in the game (which is incredibly disappointing), but I hope they've rectified most of the rest of the CAS mode. I would definitely like to see an in-depth review of the creation modes.

2k14 is my favorite i bought 2k15 and return it back because felt like they took so much out so not buying this game untill its 20 bucks bought assassins creed syncate over this

cool channel! the only reason this game has been on my radar is because of stone cold... he was my childhood wrestling hero. I've never bought any of these games but this looks fun. I think I will give this a try.

The pin and submission systems are both annoying and broken I can get pinned or made tap out when I have no damage at all.
