I feel that while this was a pretty bad combo, a higher tier group of operatives like samsara would absolutely stop this issue, only needing to bypass 035's memetic hazards easily to remove the mask from 106.

Deep down inside scp 106 he still has a heart of a man who still has feelings even though he unable to show it on the outside thanks to his willpower and love of Ana he stop the mask rampage it's kinda nice to see scp 106 showing something other than a angry grein of hatred of the world 19:11

I’d think the old man would resist the possessiveness of the mask because both the mask and the amulet of dr bright possess organisms the same way. All brainwave functions of the organism stops functioning and is replaced by the masks’/amulet’s brainwaves. In a reality, Dr bright failed to possess the old man. I I’d think the mask would be able to tempt the old man into putting it on, but not be able to possess him.
