This mess on YouTube is a concern that I'm certain is affecting creators across all niches. It appears to manifest almost like cartel-like behavior on some channels.

It's wonderful to receive updates, but I must point out an issue that seems to be overlooked once again. What about investigating the channels that have streams of bot armies and fake engagement? This mess on YouTube is a concern that I'm certain is affecting creators across all niches. It appears to manifest almost like cartel-like behavior on some channels.

Your algorithm is being manipulated every second. Various parties, whether they be people, marketing agencies, brands, or possibly even yourselves, are boosting videos with thousands of fake views, comments, and likes. This leads the algorithm to believe that the video is popular, which then results in those videos being recommended in the browse feature section.

This issue is evident to any creator who has been active on YouTube for some time. Since there doesn't seem to be any action taken against this, I can only assume that it's either being ignored due to the profit it generates or that there may even be favoritism towards this behavior because it benefits the platform financially.

Such behavior closely resembles that of a cartel and turns YouTube into an inhospitable environment for creators like myself. Your silence on this matter leads me to believe that my concerns are being ignored. If this is not the case, then I must ask, why has there been no action taken against this serious problem?

I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I saw that links in Shorts comments and descriptions won't be clickable anymore. Can't you limit this feature instead of removing it? Some of us have created separate YouTube channels - one for shorts and other for lenghty videos and use shorts to promote their longer videos. Removing links will defeat the purpose of some of shorts channels and ruin things for those who make shorts as trailers for their longer videos. Can't you just limit the feature? For example that links can be posted only by the owner of the channel? Or that links become clickable once the channel has like 1000+ subs or smth like that? This was what made YouTube Shorts a bit more convenient than TikTok. Now you're just removing an extra feature that was very helpful for those who create both type of content and want to get Shorts viewers to see their longer videos as well.

Since youtube enabled monetization for shorts, 99% creators make way less money than usual because youtube no longer push long video like they used to. Please fix this youtube

Kindly make mobile version of creator studio more efficient and put more features into it like this one as well so creators can easily check analytics on the go!

Problem with Youtube is they expose our shorts to least amount of people say 50-100 for 6 hours then based on performances they showed it to larger amount say 2k-5k. Both are way too bad,
Because
1. No one is there 24 hrs to sit in front of Feed to check new one (so those 6 hours is not proper way to judge performances)
2. Based on performance of no. 1 they showed to relatively bigger amount of people around 2k to 5k, so small channels will be always small.
3, With long videos they don't promote our videos to many people even if those are new trends

Yeah this will be very good. Since I have very old educational channel, most of my subscribers may have completed their educations. so this will be good to understand between new viewers and returning viewers so that I can focus of new viewers

Thanks! Could you also report Subscribers By Video? ie rank-order the videos by the number of subscribers they attracted. We can see the # of Views each video produced but not the # of Subscribers Gained. Thanks again!

Dudes, thank you for the announcements and tips about how to make more videos, money etc. Request: since it's not optional whether or not it appears on our dashboards can you PLEASE step up your thumbnail game? Here's the thing - you're probably being paid a salary to make these thumbnails while the rest of us have to make a good one to get noticed....so it's kinda ironic that you aren't setting a great example. Sorry for the criticism... (I routinely delete overly critical comments from my channel so feel free to do the same here!) ... Thanks for the helpful announcements and news.
