Beautiful Abandoned Medieval Castle in Italy | Urbex Lost Places Europe

The foundations of this castle are centuries old, in the 14th century it was razed to the ground during times of war and rebuilt in the 15th century, after the end of the middleages the castle was restructured and expanded into a more representative home by the noble family owning it.
Only recently has it been bought by a development firm that wants to turn the place into a luxurious hotel, planned opening is 2021.

Wow, this was great! Thank you. The painting on the walls and the old wooden framework/doors are still so lovely. Can't imagine how this place looked when it was new.

Excellent location!....and very interesting....this urbex channel is better than most because of the amazing places you show us...I’m not interested in cabins in the woods....I would rather see very old mansions and castles of the em comin!

If I was able to get a castle, I wouldn't turn it in to a hotel, I'd reinforce its walls, and prepare for battle with the white walkers.

Great explore but I . believe you will ever see them fix this building. It dont even have good bone to begin with, ...even the bricks on the outside are decintagrating. Structurely it would be cheaper to start over. The celings are even no good because you cant have plaster falling on people.
