The final Lift kit video. I install the spacers, take an illegal drive, and measure how high the lift kit ended up - how high ? You have to watch :) Final thoughts on installing the kit.

I have a 1990 wrangler, with a strange (hack job) lift kit, the leaf springs are on top of the axles, but the leaf spring arch doesnt look right, (too flat) I agree about removing the track bar (panhard rod) leaf springs dont need em, what I cant find are the slider brackets that you can replace the shackles, dirt cars use em, how a bout a spring loaded track bar?

Red stripe is ok but after watching all of Jerrys jeep videos it had me itching for PBR...now I am PBR through and through... even if its now a "hippy" beer. Cheers

Hi. I have a 95 jeep wrangler & I had a Trailmaster 4" lift kit installed & it also gave my jeep a 5" lift due to worn out springs. My only complaint is that my jeep bounces as if was riding on springs alone. It is exhausting to drive. Did yours bounce too?

That YJ is Jacked UP! Hey Dave, I am a subscriber of your channel. I just installed a Skyjacker 2.5 inch lift on my 1991 Jeep. I would like to invite you to check it out. Thanks Brother Dave.

I got the same lit a couple months ago. I just did the Ball joint and tie rod  change out so I figure this would be next. Thank you for doing the videos. They are really helping me and are just awesome. I do have a question, though. Mine didn't have the bushings in when I got the springs so how do you know which go where and how? Like I said before, your videos are really helping me. That is because I am not a mechanic but am an idiot when it comes to doing major auto repair/ modification.

Thanks a lot for posting these vids. Although I have been wrenching all my life, it is sure nice to see what you may run into along the way during a "project". Just got my first wrangler (95 YJ) and have done a lot of tune up stuff already but looking forward to doing some mods !!!! What camera and fast forward replay feature do you use?? I may want to do some of that to catalog some of my work and for my own amusement if nothing else. Thanks again !!

yes lift kits are a ton of work, if a person had a hoist that would be half the battle

That does look sharp! I am a recent first time Jeep owner (95 YJ) and have been debating on a slight lift 1-3". Most of the parts attached to my frame are in need of replacing so, why not lift it while I am in there. I was wondering if you have noticed any instability when traveling fast such as the notorious death wobble?

also what size tires were you running?

Are you still driving this jeep? I'm wondering how the trailmaster lift has held up after a couple of years?

Hey David, How is the smoothness of that suspension compared to standard suspension. I need the lift but mostly drive the jeep to work. I do not want a rough ride though. Your thoughts?

thanks for the vid. also I'm purchasing a trail master 2.5 lift kit and wanted to know when installing the rear shocks, did they touch the rear axle at all?

There was a parts list but it wasn't worth much. I got 2 bags of bushings and bolt sleeves. The ones that look like they should go on the springs aren't enough and the others are enough but flop around inside the hole on the springs. They should have done a better job on the prep in the instructions for those novice idiots like me that don't do this type of stuff on a regular basis.
