Get him the cars and he will sell them. You as the owner need to set him up to succeed. No cars no sales it’s on you buddy not Grant.

If Grant should be graded a B or a B minus, then as a manager you earned a grade of B minus or maybe even worse, because it’s your job to make him a success. So buddy, you aren’t doing your job.

I wonder how fair it is to do this evaluation so publicly, either its already a "nice job" or know it's partially to show your viewers how ethical you are, no problem but still a process like this should not involve viewing for mass

Grant is doing a fantastic job with what he has to work with. With almost no inventory, he is moving the cars, Very hard to sell out of an empty cart, I think the only danger would be if you don't markedly increase your inventory asap. Grant might have to fire you. Hope not. Hope it all goes as planned

I always find it hilarious when you mention you were a finance manager.Then a couple years ago you make a video about leasing where you tell us to allow the dealer to mark up the money factor, as it is good for us . Absolutely amazingly hilarious !

If Grant were to sell that Jeep Renegade that’s been sitting on your lot for 5 months, I’d give him ownership in the company 😂

You best employee (which is only Grant) is a reflection of what you are as a manager/owner. If Grant is a B-B- then you are a B-C manager/owner. I think you tried to allude to this at the end.
I have to admit I don’t think I would feel comfortable with my job evaluation being made public on Youtube( wether good, bad or indifferent).

When I worked I always appreciated kind words and constructive criticism. My last job, I worked 18 years for a “genius”. Seriously, smartest person I have ever encountered. With this came some really strange behavior. I don’t recall ever being reviewed. I did learn a tremendous amount from him.

I like your channel but was uncomfortable watching you publicly evaluate an employee on YouTube. And, after talking about all that Grant brings to the table, you only rate him a B or B-. If a C is considered average, then B minus is just barely above average. Seems like you’re a pretty tough grader.

Publicly doing a review and telling everyone he is anything less than a stellar employee gets you an F. Could you not find some other subject/content to drop? And, Chevrolet gets a D+.

Great at the end! The Boss graded her employee Chevy Dude at D- after 2 years! I wonder what grade she would give Grant, and if she might put employee Chevy Dude on notice to get better, or else? (lol!)

Love your videos, but I wouldn't put your salesperson's evaluation online and in public, that should be private. Glad he's doing well for you though!
