Let's Talk Conductive Gels!

If you've ever been confused about conductive gels, which device to use first, and how to get the most out of your serums, then you are in the right place!

When looking for a conductive gel, keep in mind that you will be using your device to enhance product penetration. You will be delivering your conductive gel into the skin. Look for a conductive gel with healthful and beneficial ingredients that will enhance the results you want to achieve with your selected device.

Aloe Vera Gel does not make a good conductive gel. It contains naturally occurring acids that you don't want to drive into the skin. A conductive gel that contains Aloe Vera Extract is a better option.

The best conductive gels have a good slip and do not dry too quickly. Glycerin is an excellent ingredient for slip. It is also an excellent hydrating ingredient.

The conductive gel should be water-based. To determine this, check the ingredient label. There should be little to no oil in the gel. A small amount of oil at the end of the list is acceptable.

Do layer your nourishing serums under your conductive gel. These serums should not contain acids and should be water-based. This means they should not have oil. Occasionally, you will see Lactic Acid at the end of an ingredient deck. This is a natural preservative and is acceptable.

When looking for a Serum to layer, look for Stem Cell Cytokines, peptides, and antioxidants.

A conductive gel must remain slippery throughout your treatment. I don't recommend adding more gel. Instead, choose a conductive spray to keep your gel moist. Water that contains minerals is best. I like to use Le Mieux Iso Cell Recovery Solution.

GELS MENTIONED:

EXAMPLES OF EXCELLENT SERUMS TO USE UNDER CONDUCTIVE GEL:

Michele Corley Rejuvenating Peptide & Stem Cell Facial Serum

ORDER OF MODALITIES:

-Exfoliate before doing micro. It will help the current penetrate.
-Do microcurrent before you do a peel or needling. It will aid in the healing process due to the increased storage of ATP.
-LED can be done before or after microcurrent.
-LED will warm muscles, and the muscles will respond better when firming/shortening the muscle.
-Nano infusion - do microcurrent after to help drive penetration.
-Do Microcurrent after RF to calm the skin.
-Wait two weeks after injections.
-Microcurrent is beneficial before surgery to increase ATP. It will speed healing and reduce scar tissue.
-Decrease post-surgical inflammation with microcurrent. You will experience less scarring.

i just received my MBK curve and used them couple of time. Im using the conductive gel that is included in my purchase ( O2 calming gel and lemieux iso-cell) I only feel the vibration and not any type of electricity similar to the microcurrent? Am I supposed to feel anything other than the vibration? and if I do 5 min a day, how soon should I see any results/

I am currently researching microcurrent devices.
Can you please give me your recommendations?
I am a young 65 with very few wrinkles but aging skin.
Also, can you please list one of each product needed to reach optimal results?
Also, the order of application.

Hi there. I have the nuface and their gel which I don’t like at all! Plus the MBK eye which even later. When using microcurrent onto face such as my new face can I use in my daily and nightly serums without having to use a conductive gel. For example the neogensis recovery then do micro then finish w rest of my regime

Hi dear, can I use Organic vegetable glycerin made from coconut instead the alo verá gel? I have tried multiple gels but I get breakouts from them. I am trying to make my own with “safe” ingredients that won’t cause reactions to my sensitive acne prone skin. Thanks

Jeana, What is a brand of a hydrosol mist? (What is a Hydrosol mist)? And can you just spritz plain water on your conductive gel like the Skulplla Promotor collagen gel?

Hi Jeana - I did a 7D Hifu treatment last year and it was great. I tried doing another one yesterday with the 2mm head and couldn't do it because the shock was so PAINFUL - even on the lowest setting. Do you know why? I would appreciate your advice!

I'm so bummed u don't sell mitama anymore sounds like you still like them if u still have a group. Hoping this new microcurrent device is like mitama and maybe that's why you no longer sell mitama?
