I waited for the price drop. Picked up the s9+ for 529.00. Sold my s8+ for 400.00. The 6gb's of ram & stereo speakers were definitely worth the upgrade for me, worth the wait!

I totally agree with the conclusion of the review. S9=S8 with some small changes. The double f-stop where Samsung invested on, is more a marketing trick than a real improvement over the S8.

Nothing beat Samsung in 2017 with the S8, S8Plus, S8Active, and Note8. Pretty sure that exist again as usual in 2018 with the S9, S9Plus, S9Active, and Note9. It's always been pretty much plain and simple for me since March 2011 #NothingBeatsSamsung they are technology and Android worldwide nothing else matters.

Hey people. I am addressing the whole comment section with my question and hopefully I can get some help from you guys. So I decided to invest in a smartphone this year after using a Galaxy Note 3 since it came out (it is currently running 8.1 Oreo, so it held up pretty nicely over time) - and the two phones I am considering are the Galaxy S9 (not the S9+) and the OnePlus 6. So I've heard great things about the OnePlus (outstanding performance, great battery life) but the camera sucks compared to the S9. However, the S9's battery and berformance lag behind compared to the OnePlus 6. I am looking for the opinions of people who experienced one of these phones and can help me gravitate toward one or the other. I know that both phones would prove to be a great upgrade, but I plan to use my phone for the next 4-5 years, so longevity matters.
