A traveling troupe of Georgian dancers and singers in traditional dress performed in my home town of Pasadena, California twenty or so years ago, and when the men started singing in the style heard here in this video, I started tearing up. It's so unadulterated and full and strong and human. Men do not create enough beauty in our culture. Thank you, guys, for sharing yours.

We were lucky enough to visit Georgia in 2022 and were struck by the kindness of the people and their beautiful voices.
Once, in a quiet small hotel in the mountains, a family of brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces in there late teen / early 20's spontaneously picked up a guitar and started singing, and even folk-dancing. We were their only 'audience' and loved every second of it, at times moved to tears.
Hopefully we get the chance to visit again one day - we love Georgia!
