For those who don't know.. We Dutch have an obsessive need to inform or even impose others of 'our version of things'. The amount of times when I lived in the States when I had to suppress my Dutchness by not going into full-on "Well, in the Netherlands we call that.." is insane.

i feel like everything being so easy to put on streaming platforms is such an advantage but has had both good and bad influence on music today. it really contributes to pop music the way it used to be “being dead”
