Would you please be more specific about size of cages? How big is the cage or how small?
Thanks.

Excellent overview.
Mulch Mulch Mulch that garden with what's under the rabbit hutches!! Your soil will get compacted between the rows if left uncovered. Feeding the soil feeds you and the rabbits better veg. :)

Great video! I ordered some California rabbits from the local market here in Morocco for this Sunday and I'm excited! I have their habitats made but just wanted to see what other people where doing. It was really encouraging to see you raising rabbits! Makes me think I can do it to! Love from Morocco 🇲🇦

Love the content! We started this year and made some of the same mistakes you made. Our biggest mistake was building our own hutch on our deck, not thinking ahead, that we can't move it from the deck due to weight (it's 3 hutches connected) ... Now it's almost winter and that's the next project.

Keep it up 🐇

This was so informative! I'm getting meat rabbits within the next two years, after I've gotten chickens for eggs.
So hopefully, two years from now, I have eggs and meat animals

Suggestion. Do not put hay or straw in the nest box. Put it in the cage and let the doe fix her nest herself. Whatever you can do to keep your rabbits busy and using their brain and body will make for healthier rabbits.

Wow! How do you keep them so clean!?! I mean i know the floor is wire mesh, but most have urine stains and stuff. Maybe u cleaned before the video? No judgement. I probably would even tho its good to be transparent with the dirt too! Lol. Lovely channel. You are so articulate and smooth. I'm binge watching your videos and just subscribed. Thank you for sharing all this information to help me make an educated decision. I have decided to go with silver fox before I saw your videos and that confirms my decision. I love the different size cages, i had never considered but it makes perfect sense!

New subscriber! I’m new getting into the rabbit breeding! I recently tried rabbit meat, from one of the babies that were grown. I have to say it was delicious! I am looking to buy another buck as The Buck I had was my sons. Thank you for the info I def can tell your content is going to be very helpful!

thanks for the video. Really good information and nice format.

Just a quick tip if you want it...when you are walking around like in this video could look at a wireless lav mic. You can get them for like $20 and they tend to work pretty well. But if not its all good and we can still hear you! It might just make things easier for you when editiing and such. Cheers.

So I'm only a few minutes into the video and you said you have two bucks. I also have to but would prefer just to have one related to space and cost issues. My concern as well is what happens if my buck is unable to mate. My understanding is you can't have litter mates breed and what if you can't get another buck? Guess I'm just checking to make sure that's factual about not having litter mates breed

Thank you for this video! I learn so much from you. I am trying to forage for a lot of my rabbits food as well, so I really appreciate you sharing what they eat. I feed 1 cup of pellets to each rabbit, is that a good amount? They also get a treat at night like Timothy hay and fresh alfalfa or raspberry leaf. Can't wait to see the tractor you create. Thanks again!

sorry another question.. since you tractor your rabbits in the non snow months lol how do you transition the mature rabbits back and forth from hutch to tractor and back again without stomach upset and how and when do you put your grow outs in tractors so they don't get sick? TIA

WOW YOU IMPRESS ME, YOU'VE GOT THIS ALL FIGURED OUT DOWN TO A SCIENCE. I WISH I HAD YOUR SET UP. I HAVE A LOT TO LEARN, PROBLEM IS, I HAVE NO ONE TO BUILD THE HUTCHES. HOW MANY WOULD A SINGLE WOMAN NEED TO SURVIVE ON AND HOW MUCH AND WHAT DO YOU FEED THEM? DO THEY GET TO GET OUT AND PLAY IN THE GRASS OR ARE THEY ALWAYS IN CAGES? NEW HERE, FIRST TIME, WHAT STATE ARE YOU IN? THANKS

Awesome video! Do you get cold snowy winters where you are located? What adaptations might be needed during colder months?

Interesting... I also raise rabbits quail and chickens lol. Though, I just got a new turkey, I'm looking for guineas to replace my old flock and I have Muscovy duck eggs incubating beneath two broody hens :)
My bunnies are "mutts" (Angora Lop and Lionhead crosses), but I have American Bresse and Ayam Cemani chickens along with my regular layer flock. :)
Those are my main animals other than the dogs (litter due in a few days), cats and soon the Muscovy. I want to sell my rabbits next and work on getting a meat breed going. My quail are Jumbo Coturnix, though I have some white wings and Celadon layers I'm gently trying to perpetuate the genetics of. Anyway happy I found your channel. I'm in SeMo (Southeast Missouri).
