Sadly, families like this really exist and are more common than we may think.
Personally, my family was almost identical to the Pleasant family in the sims 2. Thank god i had the chance to get out that place and begin a new life.
Families like that are very toxic.

When I first got University, I sent the twins off and had Mary-Sue discover Daniels affairs and kicked him out.She then had a one night stand with a coworker and ended up pregnant.Angela was working hard toward a business degree, but the minute Lilith heard, she dropped out and headed back home to help her mother raise her new half sibling.After that, Mary-Sue realized how poorly she had treated Lilith and they grew closer, even to the point that Mary-Sue left Lilith the house after her passing to raise her own family with Dirk.

At least thats my story behind this family, still pretty effed up that Mary-Sue and Daniel were such terrible parents

I've been playing The Sims 2 since I was 9 years old nowadays I'm 20 LOL and this is the 1st time I realise Lilith's anger because she's been rejected and underestimated by her parents because her sister was always more loved from her.. at least as this video meaning shows.. btw this about the maid its true lol happens to everyone when he starts playing with this family in Sims 2. Btw I always tried to make up these twins cuz I couldn't stand their argueing all time!

I didn't think the Pleasant storyline was as sad as this made it seem, but it totally is. 😭 I think I'm going to repair their relationships in TS2. 😭

When I used to play the sims 2, I started with the pleasant family, one night Daniel decided to make himself something to eat and he burned the entire kitchen, everyone died exept Lilith, so i continued the game, she worked hard and became a strong independent woman. Then she found herself a man, had twins with him and adopted three kids because she didn’t want anyone to be as lonely as she was, she wanted to give them as much love as she could, because at their age she didn’t receive any. And then.. her husband died. She became obese, only ate pizza, addicted to video games aaand she lost her job and her kids.

Love the Mary-Sue is a horrible mom!!! What the heck!! I feel so bad for people think Lilith is a spoiled mean goth girl but she's only like that because her stupid parents did not raise her....if you guys watched Chrillsims simfacts you would know what I'm talking about

they need the Pleasant, Dreamer, and Broke Families in The Sims 4, the Calientes and the landgraab just not have the story you can build off of like in sims 2.

What I usually do is make Daniel break it off with Kaylynn, Mary-Sue starts to pay attention to her family, And make Angela and Lilith get along.But sometimes when I'm bored I will make Mary-Sue have her own affair and give Daniel a taste of his medicine. Usually with Cassandra Goth...
