Thank you very much for these videos. I'm teaching mathematics to Afghan kids in Greece and your videos have made it so much easier for me and pleasant for my students! Also, special thanks for keeping the videos short and to the point!

I'm learning Dari because people from Afghanistan will come here in my side specifically in Medellin and Bogota and I'd like to speak with them in their language to learn their culture, their knowledge, and make Afghanistan friends (I've never had one). You're videos are great, it's helping me so much so keep it up

Im trying to learn one of my coworkers language which i believe is dari because she told me she is from Afghanistan but she speaks very little english because she has moved from Afghanistan to the US and has only been here for 4 months. I have many Afghanistan neighbors and only know the greeting in their language which is as salam aleikum 😅 but even with that greeting it brought a smile to her face. And today she taught me how to say how are you in her language which was very nice of her to do so. So now i want to learn it and try to make friends with my Afghanistan coworkers 😊

Thank you! Tashakur! I used this today in school - an Afghan boy has joined my Year 7 form (11-12year olds). I had a French lesson with them - so switched over to learning some of these phrases in Dari with them. I wasn't sure if it would be the right language / dialect - but he soon confirmed that it was and happily helped model the phrases for us to practise. The class enjoyed having a go at introducing themselves using Naam-e ast. Good length and level of video for an introduction session. :-)

This is so cool, the Dari Language is so similar to Hebrew too in its anunciation and pronounciation, that it makes so much sense to historical migration and accounts.

Thank you! I teach art to Afghan teens in Greece. I have difficulty finding language resources for Dari that help me to understand the written vs. spoken. This is very helpful. In our community the teens speak a mixture of Dari and sometimes Farsi. Many times i find out later if I learned the Dari or the Farsi word, like chaplac and danpawyee 😊
I'm really happy to have found your videos where you explain things so clearly!

Tashakur! We have some children from Afghanistan (not sure where exactly) in our school and they don't always have an interpreter with them and have very little English, I've passed this on to teaching staff here to help them. I'm interested to watch the rest of your series too, all these things help build bridges between people, too often divided by ignorance and politically-generated prejudice.

Please do more, surely you have the views you needed now 🥺 I help Afghan refugees and it would also be nice to know how to help them sign paperwork they need, like "write your name here" "sign here" and other things
