PlayStation Spider-Man so far seems like a game series that is playing it safe with its open world design while simultaneously making it engaging enough that the player wants to keep going and advance the story.

Having just got a ps5.
Never played any spiderman.
Then powering throught the first (+miles) before just to play this...

Its like the first two game mechanics met beautifully.
The graphics and cutscenes are great. Side missions are feels. And story is just peak.

The negatives of the open world activities feeling repetitive is fine for me. The best part about the Spider-Man games is the fact that doing anything as Spider-Man is so satisfying and fun that it really doesn't matter what i'm doing. I'm sure it does for some people, but not me. So colour me excited
