Wax is better than PB blast! Heat up the bolt with a torch and touch a stick of candle wax to it. The wax melts and wicks into the threads that are now expanded from the heat. Hot wax on hot metal will go deeper than any oil and it doesn't need to sit for days to penetrate.

Good knowledge you have m8, i enjoy learning trick here and there ;) my was so stuck it never came of, i had to replace the hot side + chra on 2860rs . the + side of it Garret include now all their Chra with ceramic bearings and steel cage (instead of metal and hard plastic)from 2014 and up.

careful not to make one side come off a lot more than the other or pull it off unevenly, the tolerances from the turbine wheel and the housing are very close. mine came off a little crooked and i bent one of the fins of the turbine wheel :/
so heads up on that

to clock a garrett compressor housing, i know that big ring has to come off, but ejat about the 6 bolts on the outer edge? (for wastegate brackets and whatnot)
