Nice to see a guitar player comment on this song. RIP Gary.

99.999% of all guitarists, when they 'put on a guitar face' are 1) faking it...because...2) they don't possess even a high enough base level of skill that results in them 'feeling it'.
RIP Gary, the true master, the true virtuoso, one of one.

I have been a musician (bass player) for over 60 years and have heard many of the greats live like Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Jeff Beck, Mike Pinera and many, many more and IMHO Gary Moore is the greatest guitar player that ever lived and this recording is the greatest guitar performance ever recorded. His technique is masterful and his note selection is impeccable. Flawlessly performed with the most tasteful note selections and execution. No one plays with more passion and expression than Gary.

The greatest guitarist ever to walk this earth! Yes there have been and still are some excellent guitar players, but Gary Moore was just a cut above them all. No one can match him!
R.I.P Gary and thank you. Your music lives on! 🙂😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦

I like a lot of guitar players and have respect for many. Having said that, no one plays like Gary. Be it fusion, hard rock or blues, Gary was a master in all of them. The passion he was able to channel thru a guitar is awe inspiring. Lots of guitar players lack that ability. Including some of the biggest names which I won't mention here. Gary was no one-trick pony. My number 1 six-stringer. Blessed to have seen him twice.

He’s wrong because Gary Moore has never been a show-off kind of player.

Thank you for the reaction! I appreciate that you did this one for me. Just beautiful. Sad he left us so early.

I love Gary So much that last night I dreamed that I was playing Shapes of Things solo from one of his lives performances. His solos are so beautiful, emotional, powerful that we can sing them, I do all the time. I miss him so much.

Most exciting player I ever saw. His 80’s heavy rock shows were extraordinary to experience.

I don't think Peter Green felt sorry for giving/selling his Les Paul to Gary Moore. Boy, the man made it sing!

It's actually a cover. The original song is from Roy Buchanon another very underrated musician.
