MYNESWEEPERS First Impressions | My First Set of Tire Inserts

This is NOT a review of the Mynesweepers tire inserts. I just got them installed and took them out for a test run. Round 2 of the Socal Enduro Race is in less than 2 weeks and I want/need wheel protection at an affordable price. The Mynesweepers fit the bill nicely. Long term review to follow at the end of the season.

Nice vid. Your Accord is like Superman’s phone booth! 😂

Interesting that you run 29psi! It doesn't get much chunkier than where we ride and I run 23 front and 25 rear. Any more than that and I can't keep the wheels on the ground, they bounce like crazy! I run Cush Core front and rear. How much sag you running and do you have trouble keeping traction normally? B the way I weigh 200lbs.

Great video. Mynesweepers are amazing. Ran them for the first time a few weeks ago at Fontana. Definitely an amazing product. Good luck at your upcoming race and keep ASending It.

Sweet run mate, I’m tipping a top 5 result at your next enduro event . Bit of fun on the way home from work always makes me feel on top of the world. Just need to do it more often. 👍

Thanks for this! I want to get up to Pisgah and need to find a good, not too heavy, option for my rear wheel. Gotta fun something. Good job👊🏻👍🏻

How’s the meta for climbing? Does all that weight make it very bad?

Good video as always Milt! I've been on Mynesweepers for a few months. I run 20(ish) psi front and rear with Minion DHFs front and rear. Play with that air pressure a bit and find that sweet spot!

Miltonator did you end up making a long term review video for your minesweepers? I’m curious to know how big of a pain in the butt they were to remove, add more sealant, and/or if you ever had to test out their “ride out” capabilities and how that went.
Love the vids and the in depth trail dissections.

Inserts are awesome, I'm running Cssix Foamo front and rear. It's a local South African brand and what a difference. Keep shredding

Tire pressure is so important and when I installed huck noris tire insert and lowered my PSI from 25F and 29R to 21F and 25R I can feel the traction better and was easy to my wrists less fatigue after the ride.

Good job and nice trail 🤘 I have always around 18-20 psi on my tires without anything!!! 25psi seems too much, for me specially on DH and jumps.

I've been considering getting inserts. Wasn't too impressed with added weight and difficulty with CushCore, but the Nukeproof ones look interesting and I will check these out as well. Also, I'm running 25-ish on the rear of my Nomad right now with no inserts. You could probably experiment with going lower. Phil Metz went down to like 9psi when he tested CC's. Just see what pressure feels best.

Any updates on how the Mynesweepers were?

That’s the way to shred brother! You got me stoked to ride. Do the tire inserts feel heavier than your normal tire or is the weight not noticeable?
