We finally took the F150 Prerunner to Glamis! The truck felt amazing in the sand and we cannot wait to go back.

Hell yeah boys, good times. Loved the edit of minimal talking and more engine noises and video of the truck.

Yes Nice truck & good choice I made a similar one and happy I did. I went with a Full Size Bronco my dad had one I liked but I did not want one of the year he had for me it was a solid front axle 79. I found a 87 TTB and went to work the 4 " long travel cut & turned beams really work. I rebuilt my readius arm to beams top & bottom connections and added a vertical piece to tie them together inside and added additional conection.templates from 1/8 wood in 3d and had them cut out clean welded it all up and installed an F250 slipshaft with big Ujoints on the passenger side some Warn hubs my top hats had blown up. I was going to run dual race runner shocks but I changed my mind and went with a better single per wheel and happy I did . I went with a set of Kings after I wieghd it front & rear separate with what I would carry when asked by BrettWith gears & Lockers installed and bought glass fenders for my tires to fit from a 96 part out I bought the glass fenders a hood grill & lights & core support too . te spindles the brake calipers bolt to them also . a new radiato=r HID upgrade improved the brakes & ambulance steering rods too A trip to santee for bedsides and motor mounts and trans mount too . I rebuilt my transfer case museld attached the oilerbetter an new chan and planetary gears It did great in the dunes at Pismo The king shocks were very good

Great to see some action again.
Get that prep done and the few little problems and get back out and give a look amongst some whoops and jumps.

Crazy how casual 70 mph over those whoops looks. Christian just one hand on the wheel. Looks like a party boys.

That was a nice catch on that bump that caught the drivers front, during that first run.

I'm in the same boat as you guys. Got a 79' Chevy on beams and 4 link with a heads/ Cam 6.0 LS. The th400 trans is beefed up but my 9" rear end is my weak point, haven't broke a 3rd member yet... Cross fingers but when I took my truck out to Dumont dunes I found out it needs more power for the dunes. All in all its a great truck but I feel ya on the snowball effect! By the way you guys have been a huge inspiration of mine while building my truck. I've learned a lot from you guys and have taken a lot that you have taught me on how to build these desert trucks! Keep up the great work and content!

You should do a driving tips video. Like throttle control when jumping and tips for climbing dunes. I feel like I can't find info on that anywhere

some drone shots of these runs would be awesome...or even some shots from a tripod

You don’t need more power. Just take some bald tires to skat track and have them make you paddles for the truck. They’ll be made specifically to your trucks power and gear ratio I believe. That alone will make a difference

Having watched the evolution of the channel and the F150 over that time it might be time to put a successor truck on the design board. A truck where the drivetrain and the nameplate are the same maybe? Godzilla Ford, Hellcat Ram, ZL1 Silverado/Sierra OR PowerStroke, Cummins, DuraMax??? I have learned a lot from watch your methods and processes and applied a few of them to my projects. Keep up the great work working on rigs and taking us along by filming.

that sqeeking and clunking would drive me crazy - but besides that its an awesome truck !

I think getting rid of the Toyo MT’s and going with a lighter weight tire will help the truck perform better, the Toyo MT I believe is the heaviest tire in the market, they weigh close to a 100lbs each. Awesome truck!
